Prior to the foundation of CgV, Daniel spent 36 years in the automotive industry, most recently serving as President and CEO of Nissan’s operations in Spain. Following a 25 year career with General Motors, which included postings in seven countries in Europe, Asia and Central America, Daniel was recruited by Nissan to create a new commercial organization separate from their manufacturing operations in Spain. Under his leadership, Nissan’s unit sales in Spain more than doubled, resulting in the highest market penetration levels of any Japanese auto company in Europe. Daniel also served as a director of Nissan Europe, where he had responsibility for dealer financing programs, company-owned dealerships and strategic manufacturing decisions.

While at GM, and later at Nissan, Daniel led many of his company’s highest profile motorsport programs, including European Touring Cars, Dakar Rally and the creation of the World Series by Nissan, which in three years became the leading F1 feeder series in Europe.

Daniel is a native of Long Island and has relocated with his family to the New York City area.

Jordi worked with Daniel through a media agency in New York, in 2008. They soon realized they shared common interests and complementary ambitions, and since their professional relationship was very fruitful, they decided to join efforts in a venture of their own.
		Jordi holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master of Science in Management by HEC Paris. After spending almost a decade abroad (Paris, New York, London, Milan, Frankfurt), he recently came back to Barcelona, Spain, where he is fully dedicated to CgV's activities.
